Hey there!  I’ve joined up with a bunch of my blogging buddies to share some things that we’re loving lately!  It should be really fun to see what has captured everyone’s attention recently, so be sure to follow the links at the bottom of the page to follow along!

Fall weather is slowly creeping into Texas, which means the stores are stocking up on fall/winter clothing, and I’m telling you, I am loving what I’m seeing!  I’ve always preferred to look pulled together while being extremely comfortable, especially during the colder months, and the selection of over-sized sweaters, ponchos and capelettes meet my needs perfectly.

I’m also looking forward to wearing makeup again!  I’ve been wearing less and less now that I stay at home with my son, but also because it’s just so darn hot here during the summer!  On the rare occasion I get to dress up and get all dolled up, but I’m hoping to make more of an effort now that it’s cooling down again.

Of course, if you know me at all you know my love for boots and booties.  I’ve been wearing both for years now, and I don’t see an end in sight!

I’ve also picked up a few new scarves for the season.  I like chunky knit scarves, but around here it’s rare that it’s cold enough to wear one in the fall.  Even so, I’m adding to my collection just in case!  Watches are always fun to collect too.  This may be a hint as to where my mind is for the holiday season, but silver and gold are on my mind, so this watch caught my eye as I was browsing the site for accessories.  Oh and did you notice all of the sweaters I shared above are neutral?  I’m finding that the only colors I’m loving on top of the neutrals are blue and wine colored pieces.  This little clutch would be a great pop to my neutral outfits.  I’m going to have to pick this one up for sure!

So that’s what I’ve been loving lately!  Of course, that’s aside from the many, many, many other things I’ve had my eye on, but hey, I’ll leave those for another day. 🙂

Hope y’all have a great day!

I love boots! I have a ton of them at home, and I feel like I never quite get to wear them all for some reason. I still haven’t made my way around to see everyone’s posts, but I plan to do so very soon! Can’t wait to see what everyone did!

Love your style and all your picks!
I totally agree with you about neutrals and great accessory colors. I always like to have a burgandy bag & a green bag because they both go with black or brown and the burgundy one that you picked is adorable! ! Also loving those camel suede ankle boots!

Thank you Karen! I think my dressing is a lot like my decorating. Neutral with a pop of color throughout. It’s just easier that way, and coming from a working professional background, it saved me so much money not having to purchase things over and over just because they “weren’t on trend” anymore. That being said, I do like to try new things now that I’m not working. I feel like I have so much more freedom to play!

Thank you Stephanie! My closet is full of them now. I told my husband that I’m banned from buying anymore, but who knows if that’ll stop me. They are just too good!
